Concentrating on the cup

 
The squad continued its preparations for the cup game with Benidorm on Tuesday morning, with the only absentee being Albert Jorquera who has gone down with gastroenteritis.
Barça’s second training session of the week was held in the Miniestadi, and there is just one more to go before they face Benidorm in Wednesday night’s Copa del Rey return leg.

It was held behind closed doors, and the full squad was available, apart from goalkeeper Albert Jorquera, who has gastroenteritis. No announcement has been made as to his availability for the cup game, while it is already known, of curse, that Andrés Iniesta, Éric Abidal and Gabriel Milito are out through injury.

It all meant that Pep Guardiola had 20 players at his disposition, and no reserve team players were involved in the first team training session.

Planning for Wednesday

Barça will train again at 12.00 on the day of the match in the Camp Nou. They will then have lunch at 13.00 on the club grounds, after which they will be free until 19.30, when they are expected to report to the stadium to finalise preparations for the game that gets under way at 21.00.
