20 players for Krakow
Pep Guardiola has called up 20 players for the return leg of the Champions League qualifier against Wisla, with Dani Alves and youth keeper Ruben Miño among them. However, Messi and Victor Sanchez will not travel.
Dani Alves, who has been given the all clear following his shoulder sprain injury in the first leg
against Wisla, is the main new addition to the squad to travel to Poland for the return leg. Also
travelling is 19 year-old youth keeper, Ruben Miño as well as Jose Manuel Pinto, despite his elbow
injury.
Without Victor Sanchez and Messi
Another player who has been given medical
clearance is Victor Sanchez but he hasn’t been called up by Guardiola. The utility player has
recovered from the ankle sprain injury he suffered in training at the beginning of August. Nor will
Leo Messi travel as he has just returned today from Beijing.
