First day of medicals

 
Pep Guardiola’s players have been going through the usual preseason medical checks on their first day back at work.
Barça’s first team has returned to work this Monday and as every year the first thing on the menu was medical check-ups with players dividing their time between the club’s Medical Services and the dressing room. Training won’t start until Tuesday afternoon after the medicals have been finished.

The first teamers did their tests in the morning while Bojan Krkic and the seven young reserve team players who will be in the preseason will do them this afternoon. Medical check-ups will be completed on Tuesday morning with a field test.

First up analysis

First of all the Barça players had a blood and urine analysis followed by a muscle speed test. Afterwards they went to the club’s Medical Services to continue with other tests and checks.

Variety of tests

Check-ups here included ones for strength and stamina, heart, muscles, diet, feet and a body fat percentage test.
