Touré leaves hospital

The Ivory Coast international was discharged from hospital on Thursday two days after an operation on a slipped disc.
Doctors have allowed Touré Yaya to leave the USP Institut Universitari Dexeus hospital. The operation was carried out by Dr Enric Cáceres on Tuesday.

Recovery period

Dr Cáceres also confirmed that Touré will be out for between 6 and 8 weeks: “In 6 weeks’ time he’ll be able to return to normal sporting activity. Next week I’ll check the wound and if everything’s OK he’ll be able to start exercising”.
