The team’s in Manchester

The team’s in Manchester
The football first team has arrived in Manchester. After a two hour and twenty minute flight the Barça party landed in England at 1 pm local time (2 pm in Catalonia).
A Boeing 747 with 250 people on board took FC Barcelona to Manchester this Monday morning. The Barça party, led by club chairman Joan Laporta, consisted of the players, a large part of the Board, journalists and the first fans. Before boarding the plane the Barça players were cheered by numerous fans who had come to see them off from Barcelona airport.

Support from friends and family

Many of the first team players and Board members have been accompanied by friends and family members. Albert Jorquera, who is still recovering from injury, has also travelled to the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.

A hundred fans

A hundred Barça fans also flew out on the plane to Manchester alongside the players, directors and journalists. These fans are the first of almost 4,000 supporters who will be in Manchester on Tuesday to cheer on Barça in what will be one of the most important games of the season.
