Rests for Xavi, Messi and Eto'o

Rests for Xavi, Messi and Eto'o
The three players will not travel to La Coruña, it having been decided it would be better for them to stay in Barcelona to prepare for the game with Manchester United. Iniesta and Milito also miss the game through suspension.
Frank Rijkaard has decided not to select any of Xavi, Messi and Eto'o for this weekend’s clash with Deportivo de La Coruña. The players will all miss the Riazor game, and concentrate instead on the trip to Manchester.

No Milito or Iniesta

Gaby Milito and Andrés Iniesta are also out of the travelling party because they both received their fifth yellow cards of the season last week against Espanyol and are suspended.

The players that come in after missing the game with Manchester United are Puyol, Ezquerro, Edmílson, Oleguer and Barça B’s Pedrito.

Behind closed doors

The first team trained behind closed doors on Friday at the Camp Nou, in a session which involved Barça B’s Víctor Sánchez and Víctor Espasandín. The two players trained with Rijkaard because they are both suspended for this weekend’s league game with Masnou.
